Increase Blog Followers, gain Book Blog Followers and make new friends with the Book Blogger Feature & Follow! If this is your first time here, welcome! You are about to make some new friends and gain new followers — but you have to know — the point of this hop is to follow other bloggers also. I follow you, you follow me.

The Feature & Follow is hosted by TWO hosts, Parajunkee of Parajunkee’s View and Alison of Alison Can Read. Each host will have their own Feature Blog and this way it’ll allow us to show off more new blogs!

This Friday's question :

What is your guilty pleasure as far as reading? Is it a genre, or is it a certain type of book?

Oh my..

 Guilty Pleasure...
Had to think long and hard about this one.

You know when a character dies in a book? Not the ultra minor ones. Either the main leads or the important side ones. Well I actually find a story satisfying when someone dies, especially IF it's one of the main characters. And yes I do feel guilty, since that character could have bought so much more! But yeah, DEATH !!

But NOT if it's my favorite character. No way, no how! I'm biased like that.
And usually I find that the characters I do end up loving ultimately die. *Sigh* Story of my life..

Happy Friday!

  1. Sometimes, I think it would make more sense if there was an important character who died, but it doesn't happen all that often.

Thanks for stopping by my FF post earlier. I'm following you back via GFC.

  2. OMG! you like killing the main character! I think that makes quite a different book but it pisses me off. You should read Empty by K.M. Walton then...

    Awesome bottoms on the right!

  4. Sometimes (most times actually) it would be a much more satisfying read if someone important in the book died. But it has to be justified cause if not then what the hell is the point. But authors tend to shy away from that.

  5. I believe that is why I like crime novels, because there is usually a dead body somewhere. My F&F: http://meandu-justthinking.blogspot.ca/2013/03/feature-and-follow-32213.html

    1. I used to read only crime-novels in high school, but soon the books in that genre declined after my found my love of dystopia and contemporary. Need to read some crime-fic again!

  6. Have you read Game of Thrones by George R.R. Martin? It's one of my favorites and one of the main characters dies. It was floored when I read it!

Yes, I kind of feel the same way about main characters' deaths.
