Feature & Follow Friday #6

Increase Blog Followers, gain Book Blog Followers and make new friends with the Book Blogger Feature & Follow! If this is your first time here, welcome! You are about to make some new friends and gain new followers — but you have to know — the point of this hop is to follow other bloggers also. I follow you, you follow me.

The Feature & Follow is hosted by TWO hosts, Parajunkee of Parajunkee’s View and Alison of Alison Can Read. Each host will have their own Feature Blog and this way it’ll allow us to show off more new blogs!

This Friday's question :

What is a book you didn't like that all your friends raved about or what book did you love that wasn't popular?

Hmm..

Well there's His Dark Materials series by Philip Pullman.

You know, the one they made into a movie, The Golden Compass? I think Daniel Craig was perfect as Lord Asriel !! Anywho...

Not one person I know liked it. Not one. But I did. Maybe because I read it way back or because I actually wanted to be like Lyra Belaqua, I'm not really sure but I-LIKED-It.

Then there's the Lord of the Rings. I've always wanted to finish either the book or the movie. But have been unsuccessful so far. I genuinely do want to, but I just can't get past a few pages.

  1. New follower.

I have heard of the movie 'The Golden Compass,' but I haven't seen it. I have seen a lot of Philip Pullman's novels at the library. Will have to check them out.

I haven't read or seen 'The Lord of the Rings' either.

    Happy Friday.

  6. We both have LOTR in our answer! And I enjoyed the Golden Compass movie. I think it's a really cool, really weird concept, but I've never read the book :) Seems interesting though!
