Harry Potter Moment of the Week #5

This is a meme hosted by Leah Woods over at Uncorked Thoughts. The aim of this meme is to share with fellow bloggers a character, spell, chapter, object or quote from the books/ films/ J. K. Rowling herself or anything Potter related!  This weeks is:

Favorite book (from inside the books)

Its a tie.

I cant seem to choose between these two.

The Tales of Beedle The Bard
&
Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them

The Tales of Beedle the Bard are a collection of children's stories. Children's stories for wizards and witches to be specific. Me and my friends had borrowed this one from our school library. I remember the book sitting between the three of us, as we perused the pages of stories and the weird illustrations. Don't ask me why I found them weird, I just did *shrugs*. It also holds significance to the characters in the series, therefore I pick this. My favorite stories in this one were The Fountain of Fair Fortune and of course The Tale of the Three Brothers.

Next up, Fantastic Beasts & Where to Find Them, this book of course, is seen throughout the Harry Potter series unlike the former which was only introduced in The Deathly Hallows. This book is great! We find out about the creatures mentioned in the books and those few that we know nothing about. I especially loved the little scrawls of writing by Harry and Ron (more often than not, i expect Ron) in the book. It's funny to read and it's something I can't help but do in my own text books!

So this is it! What are your favorites?
